Fray Check can be applied to the edge of the curves, which are then conveniently cut before turning and without fraying. This sealing solution gives rolled seams a stable finish. It can even be use to provide a fray-free seal to the edges of self-cut fabric motifs. Only after multiple washes can the effect of the fibre-reinforcing liquid can lightly subside. Freezer Paper but not for freezing! Sew Easy Freezer Paper is conveniently used in quilting for ironing to the back of fabric as a temporary template and non-slip stencil for applique and piecing. Trace the quilting design onto the dull side of freezer paper, cut it out, and iron the shiny side onto the back of the fabric. Cut out the fabric around the design, allowing 1/4″ seam allowance. Fold the fabric seam allowance under the freezer paper and stitch the applique onto the background fabric. Pull out the freezer paper through a small area left unstitched. Roll: 45cm x 20m.
